MCEP/CINDAQ Filming Project in Ox Bel Ha March 29 – April 7, 2010
Over the last 10 days the team focused on video documenting part the Ox Bel Ha (Maya for “Three Path of Water”) cave system just south of Tulum. Ox Bel Ha is the largest underwater cave on the planet.
This large and pristine water-filled cave offers unmatched scenery and bio diversity. The recent video documentation will complete 12 years of exploration, survey and still images to create a solid database or baseline of information that can help to preserve this unique ecosystem.
The Team would like to thank JP Bresser, an award winning photographer, journalist and film maker for all the hard work, Anne-Marie Van Ginneken for her dedication and assistance, the Ejido Jose Maria Pino Suarez and Halcyon mfg. for helping with lights. Please stay tune as video images of OBH will become available soon.
