MCEP/CINDAQ - March , 2010 Exploration Update

On March 23,24,25, 2010, exploration continued in the Ox Bel Ha cave system revisiting some places of interest from past projects. Dives were made enterring Cenote Del Mar located very near the ocean and from the more remote Coca Ha cenote several kilometers inland. Although close to 2,000 ft / 600m of new cave was discovered, the main finds were archaelogical in nature. As more time is spent in these cave, detailed features such as skeletal remains, and more challenging tunnels begin to reveal themselves.
